**About the Team**:
The Content Programming team cultivates a dynamic, engaging, and inspiring content experience for the TikTok audience.
We do this by developing and experimenting with content formats and product features; identifying and amplifying trends, voices, and cultural moments to the community; and conceptualizing a suite of high-impact effects and creator tools.
**Your Role**:
We're looking for a Trend analyst to join our organization in São Paulo.
You will collaborate with the music and strategy team to discover, provide insights to promote and report trends.
You'll help identify and amplify good examples that showcase the colorfulness of the platform while also creating projects to foster diverse and engaging content.
**Responsibilities**:
- Help educate internal TikTok teams with important insights and trends from on-platform sources.
- Identify viral content and creative trends through data analysis and scenario assesment
- Viral Promotion: Conceive strategies to promote trends in-app and out-of-app (In app; search, Discover, weekly newsletter and Collaborating with the Social Media team etc)
- Track competitive platform and industry intelligence
- Create and manage an agile "radar" that ingests a pipeline of cultural data signals (from multiple on
- platform sources), allowing the organization to see what is bubbling up in the cultural zeitgeist and predict what could have meaningful impact on the TikTok community and ecosystem.
- Support and execute insights to inform important strategic projects related to content, programming, product, partnerships, music, marketing, and comms
- 3+ years experience in a similar content role, preferably in news/media, entertainment, or technology.
- Deep passion for and understanding of internet culture and trends, both on TikTok and across other social media.
- Ability to identify broader patterns across different industries from individual trends.
- Experience with content development and activation strategies that perform against KPIs
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills
- Creative and energetic.
- Solid Project management skills with the ability to be flexible and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English - you will be working with the global TikTok teams.
