As an expert in Salesforce.com (SFDC) CRM, the Sales Analyst & Data Governance provides insight and analytical support to inform key business decisions within sales, marketing, finance and the service departments.
This role is integral to effective strategic collaboration with sales and finance teams.
Responsibilities of Sales Analyst & Data Governance:
Ownership of CRM system, including data integrity, customization, reporting, data extraction, onboarding/training and troubleshooting
Support projects, analysis and ad-hoc reporting related to sales and marketing, including but not limited to: revenue forecasting, pipeline analysis, segmentation and account assignments, win rates, etc.
Support revenue budgeting and forecasting processes through reporting
Partner closely with sales leaders and cross-functional teams to drive and inform the development of data-driven pipeline management
Analyze system, collect feedback and propose and execute system enhancements
Drive process improvements through execution and enforcement of data governance in ERP and CRM
Review CRM data, identify source of discrepancy and work with ERP team to resolve
Seek and act upon feedback from sales leaders and peers to continually improve tools and reporting capabilities, influencing upstream data and reporting partners as needed
Work cross functionally with all departments to provide value-added analysis supporting sales effectiveness and business decision making
Provide organizational data to support key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales effectiveness
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support sales objectives, ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives
Communicate data and findings to internal stakeholders in a clear and effective manner
Attend regular training and product updates from Salesforce.com to continue expertise
Other duties as assigned
Requirements of Sales Analyst & Data Governance:
Bachelor's Degree or higher
3-5 years in a combination of Analytics, Operations, Sales, or Finance roles
3 years of experience working with SFDC CRM system configuration or implementation
Strong financial acumen and numerical reasoning skills
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, simple macros, etc.)
Passion for data governance to protect data source for accurate reporting
