The company is building agentic AI that goes beyond answering support tickets—our models analyze production data and code to solve complex technical issues for B2B SaaS companies.By leveraging small language models tuned for reasoning, reliability, and speed, Strudel cuts resolution time by 65% and gives engineers 20% more time to build products.We're tackling a $264B problem at the intersection of AI, developer tools, and large-scale systems.Our R&D hub in Europe is where we push the boundaries of applied AI—developing production-grade models and real-world agentic systems.Why You'll Love Working HereCutting-edge AI: Work directly on agentic AI systems and small language models applied to real engineering problems.Technical leadership: Lead complex technical initiatives and mentor junior developers while driving architectural decisions.Impact & ownership: As a senior member of our fast-moving team, you'll shape technical strategy and drive the evolution of our AI infrastructure.What You'll DoArchitect and lead development of scalable Python-based infrastructure for AI research and production deployment at enterprise scale.Design and implement complex systems for analyzing production data and code to support advanced agentic reasoning workflows.Mentor junior developers and establish engineering best practices, code standards, and testing frameworks.Requirements:5+ years of Python experience with a proven track record of building and scaling production systems.Expert-level knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.Extensive experience with backend frameworks (Django, FastAPI) and RESTful API.Expertise in database design, optimization, and management (PostgreSQL, vector databases, distributed systems).DevOps and cloud infrastructure experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) including containerization, CI/CD, and monitoring.Proven leadership experience mentoring juniors and driving technical decision-making.Experience with ML/AI systems and familiarity with ML frameworks (Agno, LangChain).Excellent communication skills and experience leading distributed teams.Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
