Company Description Founder Haus is a global innovation hub located in Florianópolis, Brazil, dedicated to empowering the individuals (founders, builders and investors) who are building startups with a focus on global impact.Our vibrant and diverse community of entrepreneurs, investors and tech enthusiasts fosters human resilience and sustainability.With initiatives spanning verticals around life, space, and community, we create an inspiring environment that promotes collaboration, networking, and professional growth.We thrive on innovation and are committed to reshaping entrepreneurship into a healthier and more impactful journey.Today, Founder Hause serves as the physical - digital (or phygital) node for a growing number of online/digital communities and networks from both the existing and emerging economies (such as Web3, AI etc).Role DescriptionThis is a flexible full-time hybrid role based in Florianópolis, SC, with the flexibility to work from home part of the time.This is of course unless you're interested in solely making a capital investment which maybe valid for consideration as well.As an Investor in Residence at Founder Haus, you will produce, coordinate & execute programs and events around providing strategic guidance to startup founders, evaluate investment opportunities, and support portfolio companies in achieving growth milestones.You will collaborate with entrepreneurs, mentors, and other stakeholders to drive innovation, conduct market research, and facilitate fundraising strategies.Additionally, you will contribute to our community initiatives while sharing your expertise in investment and startup ecosystems.Purely capital investments are also welcome for consideration.QualificationsStrong expertise in Investment Analysis, Portfolio Management, and ValuationExperience with Investing, Fundraising, Capital Structuring, and Financial ModellingKeen understanding of Startup Ecosystems, Business Development, and StrategyExceptional skills in Communication, Networking, and Building RelationshipsFamiliarity with Technology Trends and Sustainability-driven venturesAbility to inspire, mentor, and guide startup teams effectivelyMUST be AI & Crypto/Blockchain proficientMUST have startup/business experience at the FOUNDING and/or C-levelsMUST be a Startup Investor with at least some portfolio companies to speak ofProficiency in Portuguese and English is indispensableCompensation will be heavily equity (or equivalent) based and lightly cash based - those purely seeking salaries NEED NOT APPLYThank you very much for your considerationLooking forward to reviewing your application (which MUST be made here AND by contacting with an EMAIL describing your capabilities and desires as relevant to this role)
