The OpportunityThe Transformers Business Unit - HUB South America is seeking an experienced S&OP professional to join their team.
The professional will be responsible for maintaining the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process on track, while ensuring consistent participation and engagement from all contributors.How You ´ll Make An ImpactProcess coordinationEnsure all steps of the S&OP process happen on time, helping all contributors to comply with the requirements and active participation.
Run the S&OP meetings, ensuring that all information is presented, all stakeholders are engaged, decisions are made and execution plans articulated.
Ensure the execution of the decisions made during the meetings.
Escalate when required.Information coordinationEnsure information is collected timely and accurately.
Arrange a good flow of information from product review to demand review to operations review.
In systems businesses ensure coordination of S&OP and Integrated Project Management processes.
Check the consistency of all pieces of information used during the S&OP process and facilitate the reconciliation process.Analysis and insightPrepare demand and supply scenarios, analyse the risks associated, and propose mitigation plans.
In systems business analysis of resource requirements to support different scenarios.
Explain the inter dependencies among the metrics of the S&OP process.Process improvementMonitor metrics related to the engagement and the outcome of the S&OP or IBP process.
Work with all contributors on improving the process, and make sure it is serving the priorities of the businessResponsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.Your BackgroundBachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields.Extensive experience in Sales and Operations Planning, Demand Planning, and Inventory Management.Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly SAP.Advanced English proficiency is required.Spanish language skills are considered a plus.Hitachi Energy is a global technology leader in electrification, powering a sustainable energy future through innovative power grid technologies with digital at the core.
