We are seeking a Senior Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our growing team
In this role, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust identity and access management solutions.
Our ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IAM principles, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate across teams to enhance our overall cybersecurity posture.What you will be doingIAM solution design and implementationDefine a strategy for IAM within IntelliScript that aligns with business needs for clients, data sources, and workflowsImprove security and user experience of authentication by leveraging modern frictionless solutionsManage end-to-end projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, implementation, testing, deployment and transition to operationsConfigure and manage authentication mechanisms, such as multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and adaptive authenticationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IAM solutions with other security and IT systemsWork closely with software engineers and teams to ensure seamless integration of IAM controls within applicationsCollaborate with stakeholders across the organization to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements, with a view to optimizing IAM functionalityDevelop and maintain access control policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practicesLead the troubleshooting of IAM-related issues, providing support as needed with a deep understanding of IAM architectureStay abreast of emerging IAM trends and technologiesWhat we need10+ years of relevant security engineering experience5+ years of direct experience within Identity Access ManagementPrior experience with modern IAM platforms such as Okta, AWS, Azure AD/Entra ID, Auth0, and/or Ping IdentityStrong understanding of IAM protocols like OAuth, SAML, OIDC and LDAPExperience in configuration of IAM solutions for API web and web authentication use casesExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google CloudREST API integration experienceExperience in implementing and supporting modern authentication and authorization solutions including Risk-based MFA, Secrets management and Privileged Access ManagementProficiency in languages such as Terraform, JavaScript, or other scripting languages for automation and integration tasksWhat you bring to the tableProactive and positive approach to solving problems and correcting issuesStay current with industry standards, best practices and security technologiesLoves to learn and takes every opportunity you're given to develop knowledge and skillsBrings your best each day willing to make an impact, with an excitement to wear multiple hats as part of a lean security teamYou are passionate about making incremental improvementsA strong team player that enjoys working in a collaborative, team environmentBrings a professional approach to situations, treating others with respect and understandingWish listContinued education and/or advanced degree(s)Experience in environments subject to HIPAA and/or PCI regulationsExperience in software-as-a-service, actuarial science, and/or insurance underwriting industryCISSP preferredGeneral understanding of DevOps methodologyProduct Management experienceKnowledge of PKI and other cybersecurity domainsAPI Gateway experienceSecurity knowledge of session managementPrivileged Access Management experienceLocationThe expected application deadline for this job is October 31, 2025.

Applicants must be willing to travel to the Milliman office in Brookfield, WI for quarterly PI Planning meetings and one annual company meeting.CompensationThe overall salary range for this role is $104,900 - $207,720.
For candidates residing in:Premium Alaska, California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, or the District of Columbia the salary range is $115,390 - $190,410Notable New York City, Newark, San Jose, or San Francisco the salary range is $125,880 - $207,720National All other locations the salary range is $104,900 - $173,100A combination of factors will be considered, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, etc.BenefitsWe offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support employees' health, financial security, and well-being.
