Backend Developer WantedWe're building autonomous teammates - not copilots, not assistants, but real AI employees.Ava is an AI BDR who finds and researches leads, writes emails, runs outbound sequences, self-optimizes, and manages email deliverability infrastructure.Our platform serves as the primary working environment for human team members, replacing sales tools, with Artisans working alongside them.With significant funding and hundreds of customers including Remote, Quora, and SumUp, we're seeking skilled backend developers to build the backend that powers AI employees.Key ObjectivesDesign, develop, and scale the backend while adhering to our core principles:Velocity is Paramount: Maintain the ***** rule in mind.Think Strategically: Deliver quality work, have strong opinions.Efficiency is Key: Prioritize customer satisfaction, document processes, and utilize AI effectively.Clear Communication: Be concise, provide candid feedback.Meaningful Meetings: Only attend meetings where value is added.RequirementsAt least 6 years of experience in high-growth environments with a focus on backend engineering.Strong experience building scalable services with modern APIs and robust infrastructure.Proficiency with AWS and GitHub Actions.A proven track record of ownership and effective communication.
