We're seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to lead our team in developing an AI-native platform.This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design capability, and a builder's mindset.Responsibilities:Lead front-end development: Collaborate with engineers to build, implement, and maintain applicationsBack-end architecture & development: Design, implement, and maintain APIs, services, and distributed systems that form the backbone of the client's OSAi integration: Collaborate with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings, and agent services into back-end systemsSystem modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practicesSecurity & compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulationsAgile delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliabilityRequired Experience:Excellent English communication skills5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environmentsStrong proficiency in React, Python, and either Golang, Node.js, or JavaDemonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teamsBASIC PROFICIENCY WITH AI/ML TOOLING (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs)Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL), message queues, and distributed architecturesCloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)CLEAR COMMUNICATOR, ADAPTABLE, EAGER TO LEARN AND GROW AI CAPABILITIES OVER TIME
