Base pay range$60,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yrAbout AmpcontrolAmpcontrol is building AI-powered software for optimizing electric vehicle (EV) fleet charging.The RoleBuilding, improving and operating our Python backend, including RabbitMQ, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB, Redis, asynchronous services and customer facing APIs with FastAPICollaborating with our DevOps team to improve and extend our GCP deploymentMaintaining and improving our extensive test suite, including end-to-end-, BDD-, integration- and unit testsLearning in-depth the EV charging domain, relevant specifications, standards and integrationsWorking with our data science team to build real-time optimization and AI solutionsInvestigating, troubleshooting complex backend issues, make performance improvements and mitigate scalability challengesBuilding, maintaining and migrating databases and accommodate time-series dataContributing to our AI-driven development process by following established dos and don'tsOnboard to our innovative edge server project, learning about ModBus, MQTT and secure websocket protocolsLocationWe\'re a hybrid team.
