Resource - Internal Controls - Centre Of Excellence

The role: As the Internal Controls Resource, your role is to ensure the effectiveness of the Internal Control (IC) and Center of Excellence (CoE) framework across the subsidiary.This includes documenting and harmonizing processes, embedding internal controls, managing quarterly control self-assessments and continuous control monitoring (CCM), reviewing and closing internal/statutory audit observations, maintaining key policies (SOPs/DOA), and preparing relevant reports and dashboards for management.The role is critical for regulatory compliance and safeguarding company assets.Responsibilities: Document processes across the subsidiary and ensure harmonisation to the extent possible with global practices Ensure necessary internal controls are incorporated in processes Compliance - Running Quarterly/Monthly control self assessment and highlighting areas of improvement Update the (Internal Control and Central of Excellence) IC - COE checklist on an ongoing basis taking into account changes in business and / or processes Agree on the IC - COE calendar with the relevant stakeholders Preparing IC - COE Dashboard for the subsidiary on a monthly basis and discussing potential issues with relevant stakeholders and developing an action plan.The Dashboard will incorporate activities contained in the IC - COE calendar including:a. Status of Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) - Monthly Controlsb. Status/closure of quarterly Control Self Assessment (CSA) Controlsc. Comments analysis and redressald.
