Position Summary">Seeking an experienced developer to support and develop new tools and processes for our on-prem private cloud application.The ideal candidate will have solid backend development experience with knowledge of Linux essentials.Key Responsibilities:Develop high-performance cloud technologies primarily using Python as the main programming language;Deliver high-quality solutions and code;Develop unit tests to improve the software development life cycle (SDLC);Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration;Participate actively in all aspects of an agile software development process;Collaborate with a team focused on containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development;Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform used to deploy private cloud platforms aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Required Skills and Qualifications:Solid backend development experience with knowledge of Linux essentials;Moderate understanding of hardware, processes, programs, and Linux operating system components;Familiarity with command-line operations and file management;Able to create and restore compressed backups and archives;Understanding of system security principles, including users/groups and file permissions;Able to create and run simple scripts;Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layer protocols (TCP/UDP/etc.);Familiarity with cloud computing concepts;Experience collaborating across remote teams and time zones, and with Senior Technical Leaders;Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools;Experience with container technologies (Docker, Linux Containers, etc.);Experience with Kubernetes Cluster Administration (design, configure, and monitor clusters);Experience with Docker and Helm.Benefits:Join a company that values innovation, collaboration, and diversity.At Encora, we hire professionals based on their skills and qualifications, without discrimination regarding age, disability, religion, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, or nationality.About Us:Encora is a digital engineering and modernization partner of leading enterprises and digital native companies.We offer a range of technology practices, including Product Engineering & Development, Cloud Services, Quality Engineering, DevSecOps, Data & Analytics, Digital Experience, Cybersecurity, and AI & LLM Engineering.
