If you have big ideas, relish the chance to challenge convention, and deeply believe in the power of creators to shape the future, we want you on our teamWhat is the role?As a Software Engineer II (Analyst), you will be responsible for automating repetitive tasks, streamlining the software development lifecycle, and optimizing deployment processes to enable faster and more reliable software releases. You will analyze existing engineering processes and workflows to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. With guild insights you will collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement process improvements, optimize code review processes, and implement continuous integration and delivery best practices.In this position, you will work remotely with Teachable's Brazil and US-based teams. We are hiring talented engineers in Brazil. This position is hybrid to our São Paulo office. Although flexible, local employees tend to use our São Paulo office 1-2 times a week.Additionally, this position will collaborate with American employees on a daily basis, so fluency in English is required.What You'll Bring:2+ years of hands-on experience building production web applicationsProficiency in using Golang or Ruby in a production environment in a backend or fullstack capacityExcitement and motivation to expand your skillset and take on difficult challengesTeam player mentality: highly collaborative, documentation-focused and recognizing how to balance asynchronous communications and virtual meetingsA passion for solving complex technical problems in both new and legacy codebasesA mindset of leaving the codebase better than how you found itExperience collaborating with multiple team members with varying experience levels to design and implement technical projectsAbility to work and problem-solve independentlyA humble, collaborative, customer-focused, and highly curious approach to problem-solvingNice to have:Experience on an engineering enablement or platform team or experience contributing engineering-wide initiativesExperience working on a platform with multiple servicesExperience working on product teams where you built and shipped features to customers partnering with design and product managementDev Ops or SRE experience utilizing tools such as docker, kubernetes, terraform This is a CLT contract with full benefits, paid in $BRL.Teachable encourages individuals from a broad diversity of backgrounds to apply for positions.
