Resource - Internal Controls - Centre Of Excellence

The role:As the Internal Controls Resource, your role is to ensure the effectiveness of the Internal Control (IC) and Center of Excellence (Co E) framework across the subsidiary. This includes documenting and harmonizing processes, embedding internal controls, managing quarterly control self-assessments and continuous control monitoring (CCM), reviewing and closing internal/statutory audit observations, maintaining key policies (SOPs/DOA), and preparing relevant reports and dashboards for management. The role is critical for regulatory compliance and safeguarding company assets.Responsibilities:Document processes across the subsidiary and ensure harmonisation to the extent possible with global practicesEnsure necessary internal controls are incorporated in processesCompliance - Running Quarterly/Monthly control self assessment and highlighting areas of improvementUpdate the [Internal Control and Central of Excellence) IC - COE checklist on an ongoing basis taking into account changes in business and / or processesAgree on the IC - COE calendar with the relevant stakeholdersPreparing IC - COE Dashboard for the subsidiary on a monthly basis and discussing potential issues with relevant stakeholders and developing an action plan. The Dashboard will incorporate activities contained in the IC - COE calendar including: a. Status of Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) - Monthly Controlsb. Status/closure of quarterly Control Self Assessment (CSA) Controlsc. Comments analysis and redressald. Preparation of CSA & CCM Dashboards, for major deficiencies to be shared on monthly basis - with management teamICFR [Internal control for financial reporting]Internal Audit /Statutory Audit observations review and closure of open pointsReview of Executive summary of the completed audits.Mapping of internal audit point with concerned department and ownerMapping of owner name with IC-COE Control registerDiscussion with the control owners to understand reasons of control failure and corrective actionsSupporting documents for Internal Audit as and when required related to GRCBasis internal audit report, able to create and update ICCOE control risk matrix.Regularly reviewing and updating ICCOE documents in line with changes in applicable laws and changes in organization structure.Policy / SOP/Procedure / DOA follow up, maintenance and distribution:Review and updating of Policies and So Ps yearly and on requirement basis after the discussion with FBPs and headsDo A implementation, updating and maintenance across all the departments as per the OCN or on request basis by the FBPsInteract and work in close coordination with Finance Process owners/ Other business process ownersPresentation and Data Analytical Capabilities are essential - Should be able to prepare board presentations and Analytics.Coordination with statutory auditors for completion of quarterly / annual audits in areas involving controls, processes and proceduresQualifications/ Experience:CPA with 4 years experience in the big 4.Person having end to end exposure of Procurement to Pay (P2 P), Order to Cash (O2 C), CKD process, Fixed Assets Process, Inventory related processHaving understanding SAP is essentialworking exposure in Internal Control or Internal Audit Department having similar exposureRoyal Enfield - About UsThe oldest motorcycle brand in continuous production, Royal Enfield has created beautifully crafted motorcycles since ****.
