Job Title: Analytics ArchitectLocation: RemoteDuration: ContractAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Analytics Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced analytics and big data solutions on the Azure platform. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Azure Databricks/Fabric, big data technologies, and cloud-based data engineering, with a proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the architecture, design, and implementation of advanced analytics solutions using Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric.Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective data solutions.Oversee end-to-end implementation of data platforms, ensuring alignment with business needs and industry best practices.Design and develop scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes using Azure Databricks, Py Spark, and related tools.Integrate Azure Databricks with Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and on-premise systems.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to data engineers and developers.Ensure documentation of architectures, processes, and data flows.Enforce best practices for code quality, performance, scalability, data security, and governance.Stay current with emerging Databricks and Azure analytics technologies to drive innovation. Required Skills & QualificationsStrong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks (cluster management, notebooks, Delta Lake).Proficiency in big data technologies such as Spark and Hadoop.Strong experience with Py Spark and SQL.Deep knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Data Factory.Experience with data warehousing, data lakes, and ETL/ELT architectures.Familiarity with Power BI, SSRS, and SSAS.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools (Git).Knowledge of cloud security, data governance, and compliance best practices.
