As a Cloud Platform Developer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our cloud-based technologies.This exciting opportunity will see you working on developing high-performance cloud and container technologies leveraging Python as the main programming language.The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions and code, as well as developing unit tests to improve the software development lifecycle (SDLC).Additionally, they will investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.We are looking for a team player who is passionate about agile software development processes and containerization, virtualization, and fault-tolerant/carrier-grade development.The successful candidate will possess solid backend development skills, preferably in Python, with knowledge of Linux Essentials.They will also have medium knowledge in concepts of hardware, processes, programs, and the components of the Linux Operating System.Key responsibilities include working on the command line and with files, creating and restoring compressed backups and archives, system security, users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories, creating and running simple scripts, and more.Additional requirements include strong computer networking knowledge and transport (TCP/UDP/etc.) layers, knowledge of cloud computing concepts, experience collaborating effectively across remote teams and time zones, and experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools.Bonus points if you have experience with container technologies, Kubernetes Cluster Administration, Docker, Helm, and highly desirable skills such as PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ.
