[Remote] Full Stack Software Engineer

Location: Remote (New Zealand time zone)Type: Contractor / Full-TimeHours: Flexible, with at least 2–3 hours of overlap with NZT (6–10 PM BRT)Start Date: ImmediateAbout the RoleWe're supporting one of our international clients on a project that combines green field projects with generative AI. We're looking for an experienced full stack engineer to help develop autonomous agents that analyse, recommend, and implement real-time improvements. This role is perfect for someone with at least 8+ years of experience as a Software Engineer who, in recent years, has been diving deep into the world of LLMs, Gen AI, and applied AI. You'll have full autonomy to make technical and product decisions, working directly with the founders no product managers or rigid processes.Responsibilities Full Stack DevelopmentDesign and build modern web applications with React JS and Node.js (Type Script)Work closely with the founders to define architecture, technical roadmap, and engineering cultureEnsure quality, security, and scalability from the very first commitAutomate CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions, Docker, and Dev Ops best practicesAI/LLM IntegrationBuild autonomous agents and AI-powered features using LLMs, RAG, and Gen AIIntegrate APIs like Open AI, Claude, etc.Work with frameworks like Lang Graph or custom architecturesCreate real-time data ingestion and transformation pipelinesDesign integration protocols like Model Context Protocol (MCP)RequirementsTechnical ExperienceAdvanced English is a must, both written and spoken.
