Online English Teacher (Remote)If you are passionate about teaching and love to see students improve quickly, you are perfect for this role.LivEnglish is a fast-growing company reinventing English learning with a unique format, combining: in-person English immersions in Brazil and tailored one-on-one online classes.Our students are business executives who love our innovative format, method and results.Join our team of online English teachers to help professionals speed up their language and careers with the same methodology we have been using for the past 12 years to unlock their confidence in our on-site weekend programsThe MethodThe method is unprecedented, being the only 100% constructivist approach to language teaching.You will be trained to extract real-life content from students and help them master it, rather than relying solely on lesson materials.Our method encourages the use of Portuguese and translations in order to allow for authentic and useful practice.The Ideal TeacherWe are seeking English teachers who are fluent in English and have a good command of Portuguese.Key Responsibilities:Teach one-on-one 25min English classes to adults from basic to advanced levelsFollow the established teaching methodFill out attendance and performance reports on studentsREQUIREMENTS:Full proficiency in EnglishAbility to teach through the main video conferencing platformsRegistered as Pessoa Jurídica (PJ) in BrazilIntermediate or above level of PortuguesePrevious teaching experienceReliable high-speed internet connectionQuiet, interruption-free workspaceBusiness knowledge is a plusA sociable and communicative personalityWorking Schedule:Monday to Friday, in one of the following schedules:WORK SCHEDULE A7h to 10h+ 12h to 14h+ 16h to 18h30WORK SCHEDULE B9h to 11h+ 13h to 15h+ 17h to 20h30PLEASE ONLY APPLY FOR THIS POSITION IF YOU HAVE SCHEDULE A or B (ALL SLOTS) AVAILABLECompensation:Between R$3,500.00 and R$ 4,000.00 per month under a PJ contractPayment is made to Brazilian banks only.We look forward to meeting you
