OverviewLocum Anesthesiology Physician job in Bethlehem, PA - pay: $285/hour - $305/hour.Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum anesthesiology position in Bethlehem, PA.Position details Position: Physician Specialty: Anesthesiology Start Date: ******** Length: 13 weeks Schedule: Shift Coverage: Scheduled + No Call; Standard 5, 8-hour shifts (07:*******:30) Facility Type: Surgical CenterResponsibilities Provide safe and effective preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative anesthesia care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures.Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to develop and implement optimal patient care plans.Administer anesthesia types (general, regional, local) based on patient and procedure needs.Continuously monitor vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels to maintain patient safety and stability.Respond to emergencies and critical situations during surgery.Document patient care accurately in the medical record.Stay current on advances in anesthesiology through continuing education.Qualifications Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school.Residency: Anesthesiology residency accredited by ACGME or AOA.Licensure: Active and unrestricted medical license in Pennsylvania.Certification: Board certification in anesthesiology by ABA or AOA.Experience: Preference for candidates with at least one year of clinical anesthesia experience (locum preferred).Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.Additional notes Locum tenens assignments are temporary and help address staffing shortages.Aya Locums provides credentialing, licensing support, travel and lodging coverage, and malpractice risk management assistance.Some states may have additional practice requirements; familiarize yourself with state regulations.Aya Locums – Benefits and Support Access to top hospitals and healthcare systems.Competitive, transparent locum pay.Dedicated application and assignment support.In-house credentialing and licensing teams.Travel and lodging coverage.Timekeeping and document management support.Malpractice coverage and risk management support.Additional benefits as required by applicable law.Equal Employment Opportunity: Aya Locums is an EEO employer, including disability and veterans, and welcomes all to apply.#J-*****-Ljbffr
