In SOTEC Consulting (Astek group) we are looking for a Dev Ops Engineer based in Brazilto join ourclient in the banking sector.In this role, you will work closely with Dev Ops and engineering teams located in London and Poland, while also being part of the early foundation of agrowing Dev Ops team in Brazil.What You'll Be Doing Support and maintain CI/CD pipelinesusing Jenkinsand Git Hub Actions Assist with deployments across multiple environments: Open Shift (Kubernetes) AWS cloud environments Bare-metal servers(low-latency systems) Work withconfiguration managementusing Ansible Support Linux/Unix systems, with occasional assistance in Windows-based environments Help withmonitoring and observability, including: Dynatracefor application and system monitoring ELK stackfor log aggregation and analysis Collaborate with development teams using: Jiraand Confluence Git Hubfor source control Participate in Kanban-based delivery Learn and use AI-assisted development toolssuch as Git Hub Copilot, Rovo, and Devin Write technical documentation and contribute to improving operational processes Collaborate across time zones, communicating clearly inspoken and written English Essential Skills & Experience (Must Have)English level B2 or higher(spoken and written); you will work daily with international teams Good Linux/Unix fundamentals Ansible: basic to intermediate knowledge Git: understanding of version control workflows Basic coding or scripting experience (e.g.Bash, Python, or similar) Strongdesire to learn and growin a Dev Ops environment Ability to work effectively in adistributed, international team Nice to Have (Not Required)Experience with any of the following is a plus, but not mandatory: Jenkinsand/or Git Hub Actions Kubernetesor Open Shift AWSor other cloud platforms ELK stack(Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) Dynatraceor other monitoring tools Windows system administration Experience inbanking, finance, or FX systems Previous experience working in Kanban teams Exposure to AI-assisted development tools What We're Looking For Curious, proactive, and not afraid to ask questions Comfortable learning from more experienced engineers Able to takeownership of tasksas confidence grows Interested in helpingshape and grow a Dev Ops presence in Brazil What We Offer Hands-on experience withenterprise-scale Dev Ops systems Mentorshipfrom experienced engineers based in Europe Exposure tomodern Dev Ops tools and practices Clear path to grow into amid-level Dev Ops role Aninternational working environmentwith real business impact The opportunity to helpbuild and influence a new Dev Ops team in Brazil
