Linux Infrastructure Systems Engineer

A highly skilled Linux systems administrator is required to join our team in Brazil.Key Responsibilities:Resolve data quality issues and manage internal and external vendors to resolve data issues.SUPPORT ON-CALL, INCIDENT MANAGEMENT, PROBLEM AND CHANGE MANAGMENTSEvaluate and implement monitoring tools to detect data issues and ensure optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis.Collaborate with Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience and provide high-quality services.L2 ALERT MANAGEMENT: Create and/or update resolutions into knowledge base, run books, scripts, and ITRS rules.INCIDENT MANAGEMENT: Manage incident lifecycle from identification to resolution and mitigate business impact in the production environment.CHANGE MANAGEMENT: Make production changes to the ticker plant like mandatory updates, content software changes/upgrades performed by vendors or internal teams.OTHERS: Release Management, Event Management, User support, Reporting.We seek candidates with minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure, systems, or production support roles.The ideal candidate will have highly skilled in Linux System Administration, scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred), experience with networking and connectivity skills e.g. multicast, routing, switches, TCP/IP.A good communication and oral and written English skill is a must.Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT Best practices is also required.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Nice-to-Have Skills include experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY (Wombat/Vela), or Market Data platforms (Refinitiv TREP/RTDS, Bloomberg).
