DescriptionJob Success ProfileStrategic Sourcing ManagerLocation: SumaréLanguages: English and Spanish – Advanced - levelTravel: 0%Seniority level: AssociateEmployment type: Full-TimePosition SummaryResponsibilitiesStrategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for driving competitive advantage by managing a strong relationship with current or potential suppliers by proactively optimizing material purchase costs to support Buckman Brasil and the Global Strategy:Reduced the cost of purchasing materials through strategic negotiationsPlanning / Execution of regional strategies, following market dynamics, technological changes and other relevant factors, in order to optimize the cost of Buckman purchases.Enable and support the execution of the strategic and sourcing process.Leading/Supporting regional and global negotiations focused on improving our Total Operating Cost and COGS (cost of goods sold).Proactively work with BUs on projects to support innovation and cost optimizationSupport BUs with marketing information to support Bids, prices and negotiationsManagement of risk assessments for key sources and suppliersManagement of Buckman's suppliers' performance and relationship.Management of SRM processes with strategic suppliersSupply of new items and support to development projects in conjunction with R&DCoordination of the development of alternative raw materials and rationalizationWork with team managementKey Position Outcomes IncludeGenerate an estimated saving of USD 4 million.Competencies Needed for SuccessStrong ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal areas of the company;Strong trading skills;Eye shine and Passion for functionSeniority in the processes of the areaMinimum requirement to applyChemical or Chemical EngineerExperience in Chemical Segment, 5 years (minimum)Fluent in English, Portuguese and SpanishExperience in Project ManagementSolid experience in the implementation and maintenance of purchasing processesGood communication skillsExperience with SRMKnowledge about ERP systems (SAP desired)
