OverviewFreelance Software Developer (Ruby) / Quality Assurance (AI Trainer)Mindrift connects specialists with AI projects from major tech innovators.Our mission is to unlock the potential of Generative AI by tapping into real-world expertise from across the globe.ResponsibilitiesCode generation and code reviewPrompt evaluation and complex data annotationTraining and evaluation of large language modelsBenchmarking and agent-based code execution in sandboxed environmentsWorking across multiple programming languages (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Rust, SQL, etc.)Adapting guidelines for new domains and use casesFollowing project-specific rubrics and requirementsCollaborating with project leads, solution engineers, and supply managers on complex or experimental projectsRequirementsBachelor's or Master's Degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or related fieldsAt least 3 years of professional experience, including hands-on experience with Ruby testing frameworks (RSpec, Minitest, Capybara) and automation toolsAdvanced English (C1) or higherProficiency in code review, quality analysis, and identifying/fixing code smells, anti-patterns, and test gaps in Ruby codebasesExperience with test integration in CI/CD environments (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or CircleCI)Experience using, integrating, or tutoring others with AI/ML or LLM-powered testing/coding solutions in Ruby projectsFamiliarity with containerization technologies (Docker), automated deployment, and scripting within Ruby environmentsStrong skills in defect documentation, profiling, and debugging Ruby applicationsExperience generating and maintaining high-quality documentation for tests, bugs, and technical debtHackathon or competitive coding experience is a plusWillingness to learn new methods, switch between tasks quickly, and work with challenging, complex guidelinesFully remote freelance role requiring only a laptop, internet connection, time availability, and enthusiasmBenefitsPay up to $17/hour depending on skills, experience, and project needsPart-time, remote freelance project that fits around other commitmentsWork on advanced AI projects and build your portfolioInfluence how future AI models understand and communicate in your fieldDetailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Part-timeJob function: OtherIndustries: IT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at Mindrift.#J-*****-Ljbffr
