Role SummaryWe are seeking a Senior Workday Business Analyst with strong expertise in Workday Business Processes (BPs) and functional integration knowledge. This is a strategic, functional role — not a technical development position — acting as a bridge between HR business teams, IT development, and QA. The successful candidate will play a central role in translating business needs into clear process and integration requirements, ensuring alignment between Workday Business Processes and downstream integrations, and coordinating testing cycles to deliver high-quality solutions in a global Workday environment. Key ResponsibilitiesServe as a functional expert in Workday Business Processes, understanding end-to-end process flows.
Write and maintain Business and System Requirements for new integrations and process enhancements. Act as liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams. Translate business requirements into functional specifications aligned with Workday configuration and integration frameworks. Review current business processes, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend best practices.
Coordinate and support test planning, execution, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Perform functional validation of integrations, execute basic tests, and identify and report defects. Refine requirements based on technical feedback and test outcomes. Support project planning activities including estimates, schedules, and documentation in partnership with IT and project managers.
Business Process Expertise (Critical)Deep understanding of how Workday Business Processes operate end-to-end. Strong awareness that integration logic is driven by BP design. Priority Business Processes include :HireTerminationJob ChangeBenefits & Life EventsFull mastery of all Workday BPs is not required — strong knowledge of approximately ***** core BPs is sufficient. Ability to apply BP frameworks consistently across different functional areas.
Integrations (Functional Level)Understand Workday's integration framework and architecture. Ability to open, review, and validate integrations against business requirements. Execute basic functional integration testing. Identify simple errors and communicate issues effectively to technical teams.
Write Business Requirements for new integrations. No development or coding of integrations is expected. Testing & Quality AssurancePartner closely with SDM and QA teams. Contribute to test strategy, test plans, and test scripts.
