OverviewENG (engbim.com) is a BIM company that specializes in hands-on, field-focused BIM services.Founded in 2007, we have positioned ourselves as a leading BIM production service provider in the United States, completing 5,000 BIM projects with a team of over 600 staff.We provide MEP Modeling, VDC/BIM Management, Laser Scanning, and Scan to BIM services to architects, engineers, and owners.The RoleThe BIM Specialist role involves modeling different trades (MEP) depending on background and project scope, with quality aligned to client requirements and team services.This position requires a high level of modeling quality, autonomy in self-management, and the ability to study as needed.A BIM Specialist helps avoid client problems by detecting potential conflicts during initial information review and during modeling and coordination phases.Minimum requirementsAn excellent level of English, both spoken and written.Candidates must communicate fluently with native and non-native speakers.Candidates without this requirement will not be considered.Solid experience modeling HVAC and plumbing in Revit for commercial, industrial, healthcare, and residential construction, including process piping, ductwork, sheet metal, mechanical equipment (pumps, AHUs, RTUs, chillers, boilers), and for plumbing domestic water, sanitary drainage, gray water, stormwater, medical gases, compressed air lines, pumps, heaters and hangers.Experience coordinating or clash-detecting through Navisworks (Revizto considered but Navisworks prioritized); knowledge of BIM coordination, clash reports, QAQC, and model accuracy.A mechanical or civil engineering bachelor's degree (architects could be considered if they have extensive MEP modeling and coordination experience).Specific requirements vary; experience with Level Of Detail (LOD) 400 and US-based projects, or constructability knowledge related to the US, is a huge differential.Other desirable requirements are:Familiarity with BIM add-ins (e.g., Evolve, SysQue, Fabrication Parts).Experience in conceptual design / BIM design assist.AutoCAD Plant 3D knowledge.Dynamo/Python knowledge applied to BIM.On-site/field experience.Ability to produce detailed models, including real-world fittings and connection types.Please note: if you do not have Revit in formal jobs, it will be hard to consider your profile.Do not apply if you lack the necessary English level.Work & CompensationWork from Anywhere: flexibility to work remotely or from a coworking space.No-Policy for PTO: flexible paid time off when you need it.Wellness & Culture: freedom and responsibility culture, healthy snack allowances, team celebrations.Continuous Learning: programs to develop technical and soft skills.Work Equipment to Keep You Productive: we provide everything you need to create the perfect workspace.Tech & Office Allowances: one-time allowances to upgrade your devices and home office setup.Monthly Internet Allowance: monthly allowance for internet and expenses.Highly Competitive Compensation Package: fixed and variable payments, all processed in USD.Compensation will be in USD, competitive and commensurate with experience.Before you apply, ensure your CV is in English; otherwise your application cannot be considered.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionIndustries: Construction#J-18808-Ljbffr
