Welcome to Islands , where innovation meets execution, and bold ideas are turned into world-class products.We're not your typical tech company—we're a Product and Venture Studio that doesn't just work with startups and scale-ups, we also seed our own SaaS ventures .In just 18 months, we've scaled rapidly, building revolutionary software that's solving real-world problems across industries.With a global team of 35+ brilliant minds spanning Canada and Brazil, we're expanding fast, and we're looking for someone like you to help lead the charge.We're building a new world of possibilities , and we want a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to help us get there.Our culture thrives on:Experimentation —try new things, break old rules.Speed —we ship fast, and we're not afraid of failure.Fun —from retreats in Bali to impromptu Slack challenges, we mix hard work with moments of joy.Position OverviewAs a Senior Machine Learning Engineer , you'll work with our internal products—most notably Frameflow , our AI-powered QA Engineer —as well as cutting-edge client projects.You'll develop and deploy machine learning models that have real-world impact, working closely with cross-functional teams to implement AI solutions that are fast, scalable, and future-ready .You'll be helping build the future of AI for QA automation , ensuring our models deliver superior performance and accuracy across various industries.This role is fully remote, and open to applicants from anywhere in the world.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement machine learning models for both internal and client projects.Work closely with the Frameflow team to integrate AI-driven automation into QA processes.Design and optimize Machine Learning pipelines for scale, efficiency, and performance.Collaborate with software developers to embed ML models into real-time applications.Continuously improve the performance of models, focusing on areas such as LLM, RAG, NLP , image recognition, and anomaly detection .Stay updated on the latest developments in AI/ML and integrate cutting-edge techniques into our workflows.Qualifications6+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI, or a related field.Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, Chat GPT, Claude Sonnet, LangChain, PyTorch, or Keras.Strong experience with Flask and Python for day-to-day code.Experience with serverless, real-time ML architectures, and scalable pipelines.Strong understanding of cloud-based AI architectures, especially in AWS or GCP, like Sagemaker or Airflow.Passion for solving complex problems using data and AI innovation .Why Islands?Unlimited vacation —because we believe work-life balance is essential for creativity and growth.Micro-promotions —continuous growth through small, frequent promotions that keep you evolving.Annual retreats to places like Bali, Florianopolis, and other Islandic locations.Cutting-edge projects —you'll be working on products that are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in software development and AI.Culture of innovation —we break things fast, fix them faster, and aren't afraid to experiment.We work hard and have fun while doing it.If you're ready to join a team that's building the future of tech and reshaping industries with AI-powered QA solutions , we'd love to meet you.#J-18808-Ljbffr
