This is a hands-on technical role focused on creating high-performing, secure, and SEO-optimized web experiences using modern technologies like React and Next.js.You should be highly organized, passionate about web technologies, and familiar with the unique challenges of building and maintaining high-traffic, transaction-heavy e-commerce applications.What You'll Do· Develop and maintain our web-based e-commerce platform using React and Next.js, ensuring optimal performance, usability, and security.· Implement authentication and authorization flows, with attention to role-based access control and secure session management.· Optimize for SEO and performance, including structured data, server-side rendering (SSR), and core web vitals.· Ensure web accessibility and responsiveness across devices and screen sizes.· Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to build intuitive, scalable, and engaging user experiences.· Work closely with the product team to roll out new features, A/B tests, and performance improvements.· Follow secure development practices and proactively mitigate risks based on the OWASP Top 10 Application Security Risks, including threats like broken access control, injection, insecure design, and security misconfiguration.· Use Git and follow agile practices in a remote team environment.What We're Looking For· 5+ years of professional web development experience· 3+ years working with React and modern JavaScript· Experience with Next.js, SEO best practices, and server-side rendering· Strong understanding of e-commerce workflows, including product listings, carts, checkout, payments, and user accounts· Solid knowledge of authentication/authorization (JWT, OAuth, RBAC, etc.)· Familiarity with tools like Google Search Console, Lighthouse, and Web Vitals· Awareness and practical knowledge of common web vulnerabilities and how to prevent them using OWASP principles· Comfortable with Git and remote collaboration· Self-starter with strong ownership and accountabilityWhy Join Us?· Remote-first: Work from anywhere· Startup environment: Fast-paced and impactful· Tech-forward: Build modern e-commerce systems using the latest web technologies· Growth opportunity: Help shape the future of our web platformIf you're passionate about building fast, secure, and user-friendly web apps in the e-commerce space, and thrive in a collaborative remote environment — we'd love to hear from you.Apply now and let's build something great togetherPlease apply providing the following information:Your current emoluments / annual salary in euroYour notice periodYour time-zone
