Job Title: Financial ControllerAn international mining company is seeking a skilled professional to manage the financial, accounting and administrative functions of its Brazilian operations.The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing the activities of external accounting firms, ensuring compliance with local regulations and corporate policies.Manage the budgeting and forecasting process including financial planning cost control and variance analysis;Ensure alignment of current and future contracts with company policies and efficient resource allocation;Maintain control of fixed assets including registration depreciation and reconciliation;Supervise procurement accounts payable and accounts receivable processes;Prepare and deliver financial and management reports to corporate headquarters providing insightful analysis and recommendations;Strengthen internal controls and improve administrative and financial procedures;Lead and develop the local team promoting best practices in governance and operational efficiency;Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or a related field;Proven experience in controllership and corporate finance ideally within the mining energy or infrastructure sectors;Strong background managing third-party accounting services and financial compliance;Solid understanding of budgeting forecasting contracts and internal controls;Analytical proactive and results-oriented profile with the ability to work independently;Fluent Portuguese;Advanced English proficiency is highly desirable;
