We're building the future of how the world communicates.Netcracker, part of NEC Corporation, combines deep telecom industry expertise with cutting-edge cloud-native and AI-powered innovations to enable communications service providers and enterprises to transform their businesses, unlock innovation and create meaningful digital experiences for millions of people around the world.With more than 30 years of experience, serving over 250 customers in more than 70 locations worldwide, we are the global market leader in telecom software and services.Join us, and be part of a team that is not just keeping up with the digital future but is leading the way.About the roleNetcracker Technology is looking to hire an IT Security Engineer to be part of our Global Security Team.In this position, you will be responsible for the discovery, analysis and support of Netcracker's internal and external Security processes and tools.Role & ResponsibilitiesSupport Security Infrastructure – patching, upgrades, platform expansionsSupport SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)Support Security Applications – SIEM, EDR, HSM, 2FA, DLP, FTK, etc.Perform in an on-call rotation – for after-hours issues/maintenance as neededCreate internal/customer-facing documentation, including procedures, solution, architecture diagramsSupport audit initiatives, providing auditors with the requested information/artifacts, etc.Support vulnerability management – analyzing vulnerabilities, performing the remediation actionsDeploy, configure, and manage security applications in alignment with industry best practicesCollaborate with IT and application teams to integrate security controlsAutomate security processes and tool integrations using scripting and orchestration platformsSupport initiatives to strengthen Netcracker's security postureConduct vendor due diligence research, POVs, and POCsRequired ExperienceTechnical experience with Linux, UNIXKnowledgeable in IT processes, security concepts and industry best practicesAbility to create clearly written documentation of processesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills3+ years of security engineering, systems administration, or relevant technical experienceExperience working at a mid or large-size enterprise IT environment – a plusExperience with 2FA, DLP, SIEM, HSM, PAM, PKI, EDR, NDR, IAM, ITAM – a plusExperience with VMware, ESXi, Hyper-V, SCVMM – a plusKnowledge of networking – a plusIT/Security related certification, such as Security+, Security X, SSCP, CISSP – desirableEducationBS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related major, or equivalentConnect with us on LinkedIn and stay up to date on our company news.#J-*****-Ljbffr
