Industrial Director/Plant Director – Leading Global Tier-1 Automotive Systems SupplierGreater CampinasPlease note:Given the complexity of this mandate, only candidates with proven plant leadership experience in Tier-1 auto parts environments will be considered.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly capableoperations/industrial executiveto assume the role ofIndustrial Director, leading a complex Tier-1 auto parts manufacturing site through a structuredoperational turnaroundand long-term performance transformation.This is an opportunity for an experiencedPlant Manager,Senior Industrial Manager, orIndustrial/Operations Directorready to step into a broader, strategic leadership role in a high-performance, global environment.The context involves operational transformation, focusing on stabilizing processes, developing and strengthening teams, improving KPIs, and elevating manufacturing discipline.Key ResponsibilitiesLead all plant operations across Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, HSE, Supply Chain, HR, and CI.Conduct a holistic diagnostic of operational gaps and drive a structured operational recovery plan.Implement initiatives focused on process stability, cost efficiency, scrap/yield improvement, reliability, and labor productivity.Build and reinforce leadership capabilities across the plant, promoting a culture of accountability, rigor, and continuous improvement.Drive Lean, TPM, and other operational excellence methodologies with rigor and sustainability.Ensure compliance with global standards in Quality, Safety, Governance, and ESG.Manage stakeholder interactions with customers, suppliers, corporate functions, and global engineering teams.Oversee KPIs, budgets, capex initiatives, and customer deliverables.Mandatory Qualifications & ExperienceStrong background in Tier-1 auto parts manufacturing (mandatory).Experience in operational turnaround or performance recovery (e.g., process variability, quality issues, productivity challenges, organizational capability gaps).Proven leadership of large teams in high-complexity, fast-paced industrial environments.Solid foundation in Lean, CI, TPM, or equivalent methodologies.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (required).Advanced/Fluent English.Leadership ProfileWe are looking for a leader who combines strategic clarity with hands-on discipline, capable of stabilizing operations, developing teams, and delivering sustained performance improvement in a demanding tier-1 auto parts environment.Someone who thrives under complexity, communicates transparently, and brings operational rigor to daily execution.If you bring the ability to set strategic direction while staying close to the shop floor and combine strategic clarity with real operational depth in demanding Tier-1 environments this is the kind of opportunity where your leadership can truly move the needle.
