Crisis & Incident Manager

This role will be responsible for leading crisis preparedness and response efforts, ensuring effective coordination, timely decision-making, and clear communication to protect our platform, users, and brand.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain crisis response playbooks and escalation protocols.
Act as Incident Manager for high-severity events, coordinating cross-functional teams.
Provide real-time situational updates, risk assessments, and decision-making support to leadership.
Manage communication with internal teams, executives, and external stakeholders.
Coordinate with PR/Comms to prepare external messaging during crises.
Lead post-incident reviews, produce reports, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Monitor emerging threats, global events, and regulatory trends, advising leadership on risk mitigation.
Build and maintain relationships with law enforcement, regulators, and industry coalitions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Crisis Management, Emergency Management, Law, Cybersecurity, or related field.
5+ years of experience in crisis response, incident management, or risk operations in technology, government, or corporate environments.
Strong knowledge of incident management frameworks (e.g., NIMS/ICS, ISO 22320, or equivalent).
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to manage high-pressure situations.
Fluency in English and Portuguese.
Nice to Have
Experience in Trust & Safety, Law Enforcement Liaison, or Security Operations.
Knowledge of global regulatory environments and risk trends.
Multi-lingual skills (Mandarin is a plus).
