Front End Ai Engineer

Position Overview: We are seeking a Front End AI Engineer with deep expertise in building high-quality, production-ready interfaces for AI-powered applications.This role focuses on leading the front-end architecture for advanced AI systems, including conversational interfaces, agent control panels, automation dashboards, and embedded AI workflows for client deployments.The ideal candidate is fluent in modern React, highly skilled in TypeScript, comfortable working across design systems, and efficient with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.This is a senior-level role where you will serve as the point person for all front-end initiatives across multiple client projects.You will collaborate closely with our AI, automation, and product teams to translate complex agentic and generative AI capabilities into intuitive, reliable, and high-performance user experiences.Key Responsibilities:Front End Architecture and DevelopmentOwn the front-end strategy and implementation for AI-powered products and interfaces.Build high-quality React applications using TypeScript, modular component architectures, and modern state management patterns.Experience with design and Figma.Use AI-enhanced development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to accelerate development, improve quality, and maintain consistency across projects.Design reusable component libraries tailored for AI interfaces, including chat interfaces, agent dashboards, workflow builders, analytics panels, and data visualization.Ensure UX clarity when surfacing complex AI behavior, including agent states, reasoning paths, confidence indicators, and human-in-the-loop controls.Coordinate with the backend and AI engineering teams to integrate REST APIs, WebSockets, vector search endpoints, automation pipelines, and generative model outputs.Lead code reviews, establish front-end standards, and mentor engineers on best practices in AI-driven front-end development.AI Interface DevelopmentBuild highly responsive conversational UI components for voice and text-based agents.Develop systems to visualize agentic operations, multi-step workflows, and tool usage.Implement secure user authentication and permissions for client-facing AI dashboards.Work with designers to translate conceptual AI workflows into intuitive user flows and polished UI.Collaborate with the AI engineering team to improve prompt workflows, data capture, and human override safety controls from the front-end layer.Cross-Functional CollaborationServe as the primary owner and technical authority for front-end delivery across all AI engagements.Work closely with product managers, designers, AI engineers, and automation specialists to define scope and translate requirements into clear front-end plans.Help clients understand interface possibilities and guide them toward the most effective implementation strategies.Ensure that front-end systems meet client needs around reliability, accessibility, and performance.Qualifications:Required5+ years of professional experience as a front-end engineer.Expert-level proficiency in React and TypeScript.Design experience and using tools like Figma.Demonstrated experience owning complex front-end applications from architecture through deployment.Comfortable with AI-enhanced coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and related platforms.Familiarity with building AI-enabled interfaces, including chat UIs, real-time dashboards, visual workflows, or similar components.Strong experience with API integration, authentication, and state management patterns.Ability to work independently, set technical direction, and mentor less experienced developers.Strong UX instincts and the ability to translate technical AI functionality into clear and usable interfaces.PreferredExperience building interfaces for LLM-powered systems, automation workflows, or agent-based applications.Familiarity with vector databases, embeddings, or retrieval augmented UIs.Experience with streaming updates, event-driven front-end patterns, or real-time systems.Background in building interfaces for enterprise clients or complex operational environments.Experience collaborating with AI engineers on prompt workflows and agent control features.Work Environment and BenefitsCompetitive compensation structure with performance incentives.Flexible remote or hybrid work environment.Opportunity to shape the front-end architecture for cutting-edge AI systems across multiple industries.High-impact work with clients committed to modernization and operational transformation.
