Job DescriptionThe PositionAccount Manager, OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) will join our Brazil Sales team to help ensure OEMs are easier to work with, more productive, and more successful.
You will report to the Sales Manager, OEM and be based in our office in Joinville (SC) or Curitiba (PR).
ResponsibilitiesBecome the expert your customers need.
Understand their applications, standards/regulations and drivers & trends, organization and how things get done, what they want to accomplish and how our offerings and partner capabilities will help them achieve those goals.Own the strategy for growing your accounts and communicate your plans to your extended team so they can support you.Develop into a trusted advisor by understanding our clients' processes, business drivers and organization model to offer application knowledge, industry expertise and guidance on strategic initiatives.Influence decisions by qualifying customer opportunities, engaging resources, and coordinating the solution design and presentation so the customer chooses our solution for the right reasons.Collaborate with Industry Managers and your broader account team, senior management and a technical engagement team to plan for and win opportunities.Look ahead using Dynamics CRM to maintain accurate assessments of targets and opportunities in the funnel.Negotiate with pricing, discounts, contracts and negotiations to offer best terms and prices to support the proposal effort.Support and manage customer/internal account reviews and manage internal/external partner expectations.Global Coordination: Communicate with Rockwell's outside teams (Europe, USA and Asia) as many accounts are headquartered outside Brazil.The Essentials - You Will HaveBachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent.Fluent in English.3+ years of experience with recognized technical expertise in OEMs.Experience partnering with distributors and system integrators.Demonstrated ability to sell at senior management & executive levels, focusing on business outcomes and demonstrating the tangible economic value of our products.The Preferred - You Might Also HaveDisruptive Industrial Technologies Mindset.Working knowledge of Industry 4.0 and Internet of Things technologies.IoT / IIoT / Software / Annual Recurring Revenue-Subscription model experience including customer success organizations.Rockwell Automation's hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office.We believe that employee diversity is an important element of our common future.
