Senior Qa Engineer

We are seeking a remote, full-time Senior QA Engineer with 7+ years of QA experience to join our U. S. client's software engineering team. Primary duties include testing all new feature enhancements, maintaining test cases, and performing application regression testing. Over 7,000 locations use their technology today, processing $5 billion in daily sales.Responsibilities Analyze requirements for new features and enhancements to effectively define, execute, and analyze test plans, cases, and coverageConfigure test environments (desktop, Saa S, and mobile) to execute required test cases to validate product releasesFind, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolutionReview the product user interface for conformity to design guidelinesDefine and implement metrics to determine test effectiveness, efficiency, and overall product quality, including identification of under-tested componentsMeasure escaped defects (quantity and severity) that reach production; analyze test logs, create test reports, and perform root cause analysis of issuesParticipate in review meetings to share test case status, discuss concerns and risk items, drive comprehensive test coverage, and advocate for quality in every phase of the development processIdentify opportunities for improvement in systems, tools, and processes, as well as drive those improvements to effective adoptionRequired ExperienceExcellent verbal and written English communication skills7+ years of software testing experience, including functional, bug verification, regression, user acceptance, and user experience testingAnalytical and problem-solving skillsOrganizational skills and attention to detailKnowledge of test case management tools, such as JIRA/XraySolid SQL skills and familiarity with Microsoft SQL ServerVaried environment and delivery modality experience, including desktop, Saa S, and mobile, as well as experience working with Microsoft AzureExtensive knowledge of software, database, and integration testing, including end-to-end test verification across applications/productsInterpersonal skills with the ability to empower others and collaborate with peers and stakeholdersTrustworthy, team-oriented, and transparentDesired ExperienceAutomated testing experience with Playwright (or other tools) or desire to learnAPI testing experience with PostmanFamiliarity with restaurant or retail order processing, payment processing, and restaurant managementAdditional InformationKnow that your ideas are heard and matter.
