OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Senior Cloud Data Platform Engineer to architect and manage resilient data platforms across AWS and GCP environments.This role demands expertise in Amazon EMR, Google Cloud Dataproc, Kubernetes, Ansible, and Terraform to implement scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions that support data-driven initiatives.ResponsibilitiesDesign big data clusters with Amazon EMR and Google Cloud DataprocAutomate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Ansible and TerraformManage containerized environments effectively through KubernetesBuild cloud-native solutions for data storage, processing, and integration workflowsIdentify and resolve performance or reliability issues in distributed systems and data pipelinesCollaborate with teams to align implementations with business requirementsMaintain compliance with security standards in cloud platformsSupport continuous integration and deployment for cloud infrastructurePerform ongoing maintenance of cloud-based big data platformsRequirements3+ years of experience with Amazon EMR and Google Cloud Dataproc in productionExpertise in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automationBackground in Kubernetes for containerized application managementKnowledge of AWS and/or GCP for building cloud-based infrastructure and data solutionsProficiency in distributed systems, networking, and cloud securityCapability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in large-scale cloud systemsStrong analytical skills and effectiveness in cross-functional teamworkNice to haveFamiliarity with additional AWS and GCP servicesUnderstanding of Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools for automationCompetency in designing hybrid or multi-cloud architecturesWe offerInternational projects with top brandsWork with global teams of highly skilled, diverse peersEmployee financial programsPaid time off and sick leaveUpskilling, reskilling and certification coursesUnlimited access to the LinkedIn Learning library and 22,000+ coursesGlobal career opportunitiesVolunteer and community involvement opportunitiesEPAM Employee GroupsAward-winning culture recognized by Glassdoor, Newsweek and LinkedInSeniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionEngineering, Information Technology, and Business DevelopmentIndustriesSoftware Development, IT Services and IT Consulting, and Venture Capital and Private Equity PrincipalsGet notified about new Platform Engineer jobs in Brazil.
