We are seeking a seasoned leader to spearhead our purchasing operations in Brazil.As Director of Purchasing, you will be responsible for leading a high-performing team and developing strategies to ensure supply continuity while delivering cost savings and maintaining quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute category strategies to drive supply chain optimization and cost reduction.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that meet business objectives.Provide leadership and guidance to the purchasing team to achieve their goals and objectives.Requirements10+ years of experience in automotive purchasing, with a proven track record of leading complex projects and driving results.Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering or business; MBA is a plus.Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Mastery of category management, cost modeling, and supplier performance management.Fluent English language skills; Spanish is a plus.
