Join to apply for the Contract Senior QA Engineer role at CampspotWelcome to CampspotWhether you are an avid camper, the occasional glamper, an expert RV-er, or new to the outdoors entirely, we're interested in working with you.Our team values diverse perspectives as we seek to create an easy-to-navigate and meaningful camping experience for everyone.We hope you will consider joining our teamAll human beings are welcome, and we are committed to helping you thrive here.We believe our team, as well as the outdoors, is for everyone.Responsibilities:Create test plans and document test cases for an ongoing project focused on the UI/UX of the applicationRecord test progress and results in Jira and TestRailIdentify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testingIdentify any potential problems that users might encounterReview user interfaces for consistency and functionalityAttend Scrum meetings—planning, refinement, and retrospectivesCommunicate between business and dev teams regarding product launches/bug fixesDocumenting/resolving customer-reported issuesRequirements:4+ years of experience in a software quality assurance roleExperience testing e-commerce, booking, or reservation management platforms is a plusCan test complex data model changes and execute on more complex ones with little guidanceExperience with software QA tools (TestRail, Jira, etc.) and processesCritical thinker and problem-solving skillsOperating in an "Agile" environmentTeam playerGood time-managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to clearly articulate complex issues to both technical and non-technical team membersWe are considering candidates in Brazil for this roleThe hourly rate for this position is starting at $25 USD.The final rate is based on candidate experience and skill level.This is a 12 month contract with the potential of extending.About Campspot:Campspot is a motivated team of outdoor enthusiasts and software professionals with decades of experience in the campground and outdoor industry.We're looking to grow with people who embody our culture of learning, collaboration, and innovation.1.
