About the team
We are expanding our engineering team and are looking to hire
Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineers
to improve the quality of our dynamic and innovative products. We seek individuals who demonstrate strong ownership, excel in cross-functional collaboration, and possess a solution-oriented mindset paired with creative thinking.
The ideal candidate will be proficient in
both
manual and automated testing
and will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive test plans to ensure the functionality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. This role will involve close collaboration with developers, product managers, and fellow quality assurance professionals to elevate the quality standards across all projects.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test frameworks and test suites across web applications, APIs, and backend services
Define and drive test strategies and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product managers, engineers, and other QA stakeholders
Take full ownership of quality across transactional flows, API integrations, developer tools, and end-user experiences
Execute thorough manual and automated testing across platforms, including functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and performance testing
Champion best practices in testability, code coverage, CI/CD automation, and continuous improvement of QA processes
Investigate test failures, identify root causes, and ensure timely and effective resolution of defects
Automate and validate full end-to-end user journeys—covering payments, KYC, card lifecycle events, risk workflows, and compliance triggers
Proactively identify areas for improvement in product quality and testing strategy, and drive initiatives to raise the QA bar across teams
To be successful in this role, you will need to have
Minimum Qualifications

and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
, with a strong foundation in both manual (frontend and backend) and automated testing
Proficient in test automation tools and frameworks such as Playwright (JavaScript), Postman, JUnit, or similar
Strong hands-on experience automating tests for complex systems—web UIs, RESTful APIs, and backend workflows (JavaScript preferred)
Deep understanding of software testing principles, agile practices, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems like Git
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous approach to debugging and test validation
Clear and confident communication across disciplines, with a collaborative approach in distributed team environments
Passion for continuous learning, inclusive practices, and high-quality engineering
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the FinTech or payments domain, including card issuance, financial transactions, or API-based integrations
Exposure to distributed systems, event-driven architecture, or cloud-native platforms (preferably AWS)
Proven success in high-growth, fast-paced environments with a strong culture of ownership and QA accountability
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering reliable, production-ready features
ISTQB certification or equivalent is a plus
