Join Our TeamOowlish, one of Latin America's rapidly expanding software development companies, is seeking experienced technology professionals to enhance our diverse and vibrant team.As a valued member of Oowlish, you will collaborate with premier clients from the United States and Europe, contributing to pioneering digital solutions.Our commitment to creating a nurturing work environment is recognized by our certification as a Great Place to Work, where you will have opportunities for professional development, growth, and a chance to make a significant international impact.We offer the convenience of remote work, allowing you to craft a work-life balance that suits your personal and professional needs.We're looking for candidates who are passionate about technology, proficient in English, and excited to engage in remote collaboration for a worldwide presence.About the CompanyWe are a growing tech company with a product that has moved beyond MVP and is gaining traction with paying customers.We are focused on scaling efficiently, innovating rapidly, and leveraging AI to outpace the competition.As we grow, we are looking for an experienced software engineer to take ownership of our stack, help modernize our platform, and work closely with our leadership team.The RoleWe are looking for a proactive Full Stack Software Engineer who thrives in fast-moving environments.You will become a day-to-day partner for our founders, Matt and Dave, taking ownership of our current systems, helping us modernize the architecture, and ensuring that our product can scale seamlessly as our user base grows.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the entire application stack, including API, UI, CI/CD, and hosting.Maintain, optimize, and scale the existing MVP built with Nest.JS, Mongoose, MongoDB (Atlas), Redis, Vue, and Tanstack.Modernize the platform using cost-conscious, scalable solutions such as Vercel, Supabase, or similar technologies.Collaborate closely with founders to prioritize development, implement new features, and improve product performance.Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve speed, scalability, and reliability.Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and infrastructure management with Terraform.Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, improve product features, and gain competitive advantages.RequirementsStrong experience with Nest.JS and Mongoose / MongoDB.Solid front-end experience with Vue and Tanstack.Familiarity with Redis, CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and cloud hosting (AWS Beanstalk).Experience with modern hosting platforms like Vercel and backend services like Supabase is highly desirable.Ability to understand the entire product stack and take full ownership of components.Proven problem-solving skills and ability to optimize for scalability and performance.Comfortable working closely with founders in a dynamic, evolving environment.Experience working in cost-conscious environments and making technology trade-offs thoughtfully.Nice-to-HaveExposure to AI-driven product enhancements.Experience modernizing legacy systems or MVPs for scalability.Start-up or early-stage company experience.Benefits & PerksHome officeFlexible HoursCompetitive compensation based on experienceCareer plans to allow for extensive growth in the companyInternational ProjectsOowlish English Program (Technical and Conversational)Oowlish Fitness with Total PassGames and Competitions#J-*****-Ljbffr
