Senior Servicenow Developer Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced servicenow expert to lead the development and enhancement of our servicenow platform.The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CMDB, Discovery, Integrations, and related ITOM modules.Design, develop, and implement complex servicenow ITOM solutions including CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping.Configure and customize servicenow applications and modules.Lead development of integrations between servicenow and other enterprise systems.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.Provide solutions that utilize most out of the box features without requiring customizations.Facilitate the reuse of code, components, and proven patterns.Perform upgrade testing by validating customizations, configurations, and integrations across major and minor servicenow releases.Develop and maintain Automated Test Framework (ATF) test suites to validate core servicenow functionalities.Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues.Key Responsibilities:Implement servicenow best practices for CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integrations.Utilize scripting skills to automate tasks and improve efficiency.Develop and maintain high-quality servicenow solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business objectives.Stay up-to-date with servicenow product advancements and emerging technologies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.5-7 years of servicenow development experience with a focus on ITOM.Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, and Integrations.Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Glide API, REST/SOAP integrations, and servicenow scripting.Experience with automation and DevOps practices.Personality TraitsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to establish strong relationships internally and externally.BenefitsThis position offers a competitive hourly rate.Additional benefits may include flexible work arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a dynamic work environment.Other Benefits Include:Opportunities for career growth and advancement.A collaborative and supportive team environment.Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance.
