Role OverviewAs a skilled Murex Developer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting strategic initiatives within the financial sector.The position begins with remote work, with an expectation of relocation to Portugal after a transition period.You will collaborate closely with multicultural teams, contributing to the enhancement and stability of the Murex MX.3 platform by developing, customizing, and maintaining components and configurations within Murex MX.3, across modules such as Trading, Risk, Collateral, and Back Office.Develop workflows, simulation views, formulas, and MxML Exchange interfaces.Design and maintain integrations with internal and external systems (REST, SOAP, MQ, APIs, ETL, etc.).Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, ensuring system stability and performance.Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.Essential Skills and QualificationsHands-on experience with Murex MX.3 (configuration, development, or integration).Solid knowledge of Datamart, MxML Exchange, Workflows, Simulation Views, and other core Murex components.Strong programming skills: Java, SQL, Shell Script, and ideally Python.Experience with system integrations, middleware, or messaging platforms.Benefits of the RoleOpportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with major banks or large international financial institutions.Knowledge of DevOps methodologies and tools (CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes).Familiarity with Agile/Scrum.What We're Looking ForMurex MX.3 expertise.Excellent problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
