Android Engineer PositionOur company is a leading internet technology firm specializing in the agile development of products and content addressing real-world interests, captivating users and driving significant growth for partners.We collaborate with global partners on the next generation of user-centric offerings.We launch innovative products like Weather Now, a sleek app delivering real-time forecasts with clarity and ranking among top three most-used weather apps in the U.S.; Check Heart Rate Now, a quick and easy wellness monitor; and Wave Browser, a powerful and secure way to search the web.Data drives our commitment to quality, we move fast, think big, and build digital experiences people love.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Develop and Maintain Mobile Applications: Leverage Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) for shared business logic and Compose for modern UI design.Cross-Platform Initiatives: Collaborate on cross-platform initiatives contributing to both Android and iOS codebases when necessary.Performance Optimization: Analyze and optimize high-volume mobile systems for performance and scalability.Codebase Revitalization: Refactor and revitalize codebases as technology evolves.Product Development: Lead development efforts for new products and enhancements to existing products in response to market changes.Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system failures ensuring high-quality user experiences.Who You Are5+ years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin.Android Launcher experience is a strong plus.Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose and modern Android architecture (MVVM, Clean Architecture).Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform (KMP) or other cross-platform frameworks.Exposure to or experience with iOS development (Swift or Objective-C) is a strong plus.Strong architecture design skills and ability to build reusable UI components.Comfortable working on collaborative, fast-paced engineering teams.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.Self-starter with entrepreneurial drive and passion for innovation.
