Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team.This role is responsible for processing and implementing day-to-day transactional accounting to produce accurate financial statements.The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, month-end workbooks, and financial reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices, apply payments, and reconcile transactions accurately and efficiently.Perform soft reconciliations weekly and hard reconciliations monthly, ensuring accuracy in coding and matching transactions.Prepare and reconcile schedules for various accounts such as AR, AP, payroll accruals, loans, and fixed assets.Map accounts, sync data, and generate financial reports using templates.Utilize an ERP system for bank feeds, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable processing, generating reports, and posting journal entries.Requirements2–3 years of accounting or finance experience doing month-end close processes, bank reconciliations, and intercompany transactions.Education: Accounting or Finance degree preferred.Technical Knowledge: Strong proficiency in an ERP system (e.g., NetSuite) and Excel.Strong background in process enhancement, implementation, and system optimization.
