Ongoing contract role · 10 hours per week · Remote (Brazil Based)International team across Brazil and North America5+ years of designing SaaS web applications (required)Hands-on product experience design - workflows, flows, wireframesFluent English required - written and spokenAbout the RoleWe're looking for a Senior Product Experience Designer to help shape the user experience of a SaaS web application platform that supports healthcare practitioners in delivering better patient outcomes.This role is intentionally scoped at 10 hours per week , with some overlap during PST business hours required.It's focused on senior-level product experience design - the kind of work where judgment, clarity, and good decisions matter.This role is well suited to someone who:enjoys focused, high-impact work,may already have other professional commitments,and values collaborating with a small, international team on meaningful product problems.You'll work closely with the founder and an experienced product, design, and development team to design end-to-end product experiences — from early concepts through to wireframes ready for visual design and implementation.This is not a UI-polish role, and it's not advisory.You will be designing the product experience itself.About OptiveWe build software that helps functional medicine and healthcare practitioners deliver better patient outcomes through clearer data, better insight, and more consistent follow-up care.Optive is the next stage of this work - a patient engagement and care platform designed to support ongoing, relationship-based healthcare rather than one-off interactions.Our team works across two closely related platforms:Optive - a patient engagement and care platformOptimal DX - an established diagnostics and lab interpretation system used by practitioners todayYou'll contribute experience design work across both platforms , helping ensure coherence and clarity as the ecosystem evolves.Our team is fully remote and international, working across Brazil and North America, with collaboration primarily across PST time zones - often a good fit for Brazil-based team members who prefer some evening overlap.What You'll DoDesign end-to-end user journeys for complex SaaS web applicationsTranslate product goals into clear workflows, flows, and wireframesThink through user intent, edge cases, and complexity vs. simplicity trade-offsCreate low-fidelity wireframes and experience diagrams (Figma, Miro, etc.)Collaborate with a senior visual designer who will take your work into high-fidelity designChallenge assumptions constructively and improve product clarity early - before development beginsCommunicate clearly with an international team in English , both written and spokenWhy this Role Might be a FitHave 5+ years of experience designing customer-facing SaaS products or complex web applicationsHave worked on products that real customers use in productionAre comfortable designing multi-step workflows and role-based experiencesUnderstand how UX decisions impact usability, adoption, and real-world outcomesPrefer focused, senior-level contribution over full-time availabilityAre comfortable working independently with a high level of trustCan overlap some working hours with PSTCommunicate fluently in EnglishPreferred BackgroundWhile we care far more about what you've designed and shipped than your exact job title, this role is best suited to someone who has:Designed complex SaaS or web applications used in productionOwned or heavily influenced end-to-end product experiences , not just individual screensWorked closely with founders, product leaders, or engineering teams in small to mid-sized software companiesDesigned workflows where clarity, trust, and correctness matter (e.g. healthcare, fintech, B2B, or data-heavy products)Been accountable for experience decisions that had real user and business impactIf your experience is primarily marketing sites, brand work, or UI-only execution, this role is unlikely to be a fit.Proof MattersWe strongly prefer candidates who can show real work, such as:Screenshots of shipped SaaS productsAnnotated flows or wireframesClear examples of problems you personally solvedWe understand NDAs exist — but we're looking for people who can point to real experience design work and talk concretely about the decisions behind it.How to ApplyApply via LinkedIn.Please include:Links to relevant work (portfolio, screenshots, case studies)Anything that clearly shows how you shaped the product experienceApplications without clear experience in SaaS or web-based product design will not be considered.#J-*****-Ljbffr
