Job Responsibilities
Provide technical support and capacity building on child-sensitive disaster risk reduction (DRR) to at least 5 country offices
Document and disseminate good practices in DRR across various sectors
Develop and maintain knowledge materials on DRR for internal and external use
Support global monitoring and reporting on child-sensitive DRR initiatives
Contribute to interagency partnerships and advocacy efforts for child-sensitive DRR
Qualifications
Advanced university degree in disaster risk reduction, climate, environment, energy, or related disciplines
At least 1 year of experience in disaster risk reduction or related fields
Strong organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
Proven ability to work effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds
Familiarity with climate, energy, environment, and disaster risk reduction
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with a UN agency is advantageous
Experience in communication and project management
