You will be innovating and pushing the limits of what\'s possible and delivering the best possible networked experience for our players.
You will problem-solve server performance and stability, and guide developers in creating new industry leading features.In this role, you willImprove player experience by optimizing systems for latency, bandwidth, CPU usage, and memoryContribute to managing server releases while improving and automating the process along the wayResearch, architect, and develop real-time technology to enable new game experiencesAct as a bridge and subject matter expert between game developers and Unreal Engine networking techCollaborate with other programmers on building and deploying new technologiesBuild tools and workflows to enable developer efficiency and autonomyWhat we\'re looking forExperience shipping networked multiplayer gamesExcellent C++ skills, with a familiarity of scripting systems like Blueprint, Lua, Python, etcExperience in a cross-disciplinary development environment, with excellent communication skillsStrong grasp of game networking conceptsExperience developing in a large codebase at a fast pace, making trade-offs between usability, performance, and memorySelf-motivated, strong work ethic, and able to work independentlyKeen interest in gamesEPIC JOB + EPIC BENEFITS = EPIC LIFEWe pay 100% for benefits for both employees (EEs) and dependents (deps).
