Chief Visual Storyteller

Job Title:Lead Motion DesignerJob Description:As a senior graphic and motion designer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual content that tells stories through motion and graphics.You will lead a small team of designers/animators to deliver exceptional work across every output, while also shaping the processes and standards of the design function.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in graphic design & motion design, with a strong portfolio showcasing UI abstractions, data visualization, illustrative graphics, and motion/animation for SaaS or complex products.They will be proficient in industry-standard tools such as Figma, After Effects, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, PowerPoint/Google Slides, and bonus points for 3D expertise.Responsibilities include leading creative direction, setting visual standards, implementing creative processes and workflows, excellent client-facing communication, and strong leadership skills to guide a small creative team.The role is highly client-facing, requiring the ability to interpret ambiguous briefs, pitch creative solutions, and guide stakeholders toward bold yet clear visual directions.Lead and mentor a team of designers/animatorsDesign and animate graphics for SaaS interfaces, abstractions, data visualizations, and infographicsDevelop illustrative and brand-aligned graphicsStoryboard and concept animationsChampion visual storytelling and raise the quality and originality of how SaaS products and brands come to life
