Job Title: Senior AI EngineerWe're seeking a skilled and experienced Senior AI Engineer to join our team.With 5+ years of software and AI/ML engineering experience, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operationalizing AI-native services that transform the utility sector.This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated individual to combine their expertise in applied AI/ML with strong back-end engineering skills.You will be working in small, agile teams and reporting directly to the CTO.Ai systems development: architect, fine-tune, and deploy ai agents purpose-built for utility use casesBack-end integration: build apis, microservices, and orchestration frameworksPipeline ownership: design and manage the complete ai pipeline ingestion, embeddings, retrieval, evaluation, and continuous deploymentAi risk mitigation: address vulnerabilities unique to ai, such as model drift, bias exploitation, adversarial robustness, and hallucination controlYou will partner with software engineers, data specialists, and security teams to integrate ai capabilities into the broader client os.The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for innovation.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop ai systems that meet the needs of the utility sectorWork closely with cross-functional teams to integrate ai capabilities into the client osDevelop and maintain high-quality code that meets industry standardsCollaborate with data specialists to design and implement data pipelinesStay up-to-date with the latest developments in ai and ml and apply this knowledge to improve our servicesRequirements:5+ years of experience in software and ai/ml engineeringBachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related fieldExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPassion for innovation and staying up-to-date with industry trends
