Automation Engineer

Typescript automation engineer Experience: 4-8 years Responsibilities - Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans- Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers- Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress (heavy, proficient user), Jmeter, and Postman- Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality- Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle- Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes- Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assuranceTech skills- Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira- Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools- Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts- Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing- Familiarity with source/version control such as Git- Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practicesSoft Skills- Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills- Effective communication and collaboration with stakeholders- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects- Proactive in identifying and addressing quality issues
