About the RoleOur organization is seeking an experienced Front-End Software Engineer to join our team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in React.js and experience with GraphQL.In this position, you will play a pivotal role in developing the core platform that enables power utilities to transition from legacy systems to an AI-native future.You will collaborate closely with AI and full-stack engineers, security leaders, and product managers to design and deliver AI-native services at startup speed.Key Responsibilities:Front-End Development: Work closely with UI/UX designers to create scalable front-end applications, ensuring exceptional user experiences.Architecture: Lead front-end architectural decisions, implementing best practices in performance optimization and responsive design.Leadership: Provide guidance within the development team, fostering a culture of learning and growth.System Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern, secure, scalable codebases using cloud-native best practices.Security & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations, implementing secure coding practices by default.Agile Delivery: Deliver features and improvements in cycles measured in weeks, balancing speed with reliability.Required Skills and Qualifications:Excellent English communication skills.5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments utilizing React.js.Experience with GraphQL.Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams.Basic proficiency with AI/ML tooling (e.g., calling APIs, integrating model outputs).Cloud-native engineering experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).Clear communicator, adaptable, eager to learn and grow AI capabilities over time.Strong sense of ownership and accountability in small teams.
