Job Title: High Level Linux Infrastructure SpecialistWe are seeking a seasoned Linux system administrator to join our team.This role will involve maintaining and enhancing our real-time data systems, ensuring uptime and performance for global trading and data services.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure systems or production support roles, with a strong background in Linux system administration.Experience in Windows operating systems, scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python, and knowledge of networking and connectivity skills are also required.A key responsibility of this role will be to resolve data quality issues, including root cause analysis, and managing internal and external vendors to resolve data issues.The successful candidate will also be responsible for supporting on-call incident management, problem, and change management, as well as ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of data on a real-time basis.To succeed in this role, you will need to have good communication and oral and written English skills, as well as an understanding of ITIL Foundation and best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.Required Skills and Qualifications:Minimum 7 years of experience in infrastructure systems or production support rolesHighly skilled in Linux system administrationExperience in Windows operating systemsScripting proficiency in Bash and/or PythonKnowledge of networking and connectivity skillsGood communication and oral and written English skillsUnderstanding of ITIL Foundation and best practicesBenefits:A modern dynamic and future-oriented environment within a top global institutionFlexible working arrangements, fully remote or hybrid optionsContinuous learning and certification opportunitiesLong-term career prospects with international exposure
